OVERVIEW

I joined Relish’s creative team to support the development of their client PCH+'s new game, Survey City. In my role as a UX/UI Specialist, I was responsible for designing optimal user flows, crafting intuitive screens, and ensuring a seamless experience for both new and returning users from the PCH+ community, all in preparation for the game’s alpha launch.

THE CHALLENGE

Developed a new game within six months, designed to seamlessly integrate into the PCH+ application family while adhering to the creative direction and design principles of the original PCH+ game.

WIREFRAMES & USERFLOWS

After reviewing the Game Design Document (GDD), I created wireframes and user flows to illustrate the game's structure.

UI ASSETS & ELEMENTS

We were tasked with following the creative direction of the original PCH+ game. With the PCH+ design system in mind, we created new assets tailored specifically for Survey City.

FINAL DESIGNS

KEY LEARNINGS

This project offered valuable insights into the different processes involved in product design for apps versus games on the same platforms. As a UX/UI specialist, my expertise in these design principles was well-received by the team and the client. However, it was a refreshing challenge to step beyond my comfort zone and contribute as a GUI artist, creating fun and engaging assets for the game.

Thank you for taking the time to scroll through this project.
