OVERVIEW
Reanimation Scheme is an indie visual novel about love, life, death and a touch of necromancy magic! My task with Reanimation Scheme was to design an immersive, intuitive and aesthetically pleasing game user interface. Bonus, an artbook for Kickstarter patrons.

THE CHALLENGE
When I joined the project, there was no designated art director. The key challenge was to establish an art direction that met the client's expectations and vision.
WIREFRAMES
The wireframes provided a clear framework for my deliverables and outlined the necessary screens for the game, helping to set expectations for the project.
EXPLORATION
These explorations were instrumental in clarifying the client's vision for the game's art direction, allowing me to better understand and align with their preferences.
UI ELEMENTS & STYLE
After finalizing the art direction, I designed all the UI elements for the interface. Here are some examples of my work.

KEY LEARNINGS
I gained extensive experience through this project, from effectively communicating with clients to bring their vision to life, even when it wasn't fully defined, to honing my long-unused graphic design skills. Additionally, I discovered a deep passion for game design throughout the process.
